Family Advocate-Family Empowerment Center

SUMMARY:

FEC Family Advocates will provide support, outreach and training to families and will also be responsible for collaboration with existing local and regional service providers to improve, expand and aid parents and families of children and young adult with disabilities.

Domestic Violence Family Advocate

SUMMARY:

Responds in-person and to calls from domestic violence victims and their families.  Provides emergency & planning assistance as necessary to persons recovering from domestic violence. Provides peer counseling and advocacy services as necessary to assist person recovering from domestic violence.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/SUN Navigator

SUMMARY:

The Navigator shall provide substance use screenings, advocate for follow-up individual/group treatment, therapy, discharge and aftercare planning to patients and their families. The Navigator is one of the primary contacts for involving and educating patients, families, and significant others in the process of substance use and mental health treatment and recovery. They shall also serve as a liaison to community programs and develop strategic partnerships to enhance aftercare plans of patients and their families.
